In the fire that broke out in the emergency room of the new type coronavirus hospital (Covid-19) in Piatra Neamt, Romania, 10 patients died.
According to the Piatra Neamt City Hospital press release, it was reported that 10 out of 16 intubated coronavirus patients died in the fire around 7.30pm, 6 patients and one doctor were in critical condition.
Health Minister Nelu Tataru told reporters during his transfer to the city of Piatra Neamt that the patients had been transferred to other hospitals in the neighboring city and that the fire may have been caused by an electrical leak.
