After finding Covid-19 in 1 person at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, about 14,000 people at the airport were asked to be tested.
Quarantined passengers undertake to leave the test area.
According to reports from HA, the entire airport has been quarantined after a positive coronavirus test on an area on side 39 of the cargo terminal at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, China. The authorities banned people from the airport and directed them to the parking lot to test around 14,000 people at the airport.
Airport officials said it is still unclear whether the emerging cases were linked to another case detected on November 8.
As authorities began testing every passenger arriving at the airport, images of the large number of people pushed into the testing area were on the social media agenda. In the images it was seen that most of the citizens wanted to leave the test area and the authorities prevented the citizens.
39 neighbors from the airport area were also caught in Covid-19 and were reportedly a nurse at Shanghai Pudong Hospital. While the hospital, the daily clinic and the emergency room were suspended, the school where the couple’s children went was closed and distance learning began.
It would be closed at Shanghai South Railway Station, after the airport.
