According to the reporter, some asked for the count to stop. Others, however, wanted all votes to be counted in the hope that Trump would catch up with Democrat Joe Biden anyway. In the southwestern state, it wasn’t clear until recently which of the two candidates would win the close race.

In Portland, Oregon, there were riots on the sidelines of a rally on Wednesday evening. Numerous people demanded that every vote be counted. In Detroit, Michigan, a group of protesters gathered in front of a counting office and shouted, “Stop the count.” Meanwhile, dozens of protesters gathered in a street demonstration demanding that every vote be counted.
