France is currently in fourth place in the world for the number of reported infections, 2,036,755, after the United States, India and Brazil. With a death toll of 45,000 coronaviruses, France ranks seventh in the world, News.ro informs.
In Europe, nearly 14.5 million cases of Covid-19 have been reported, which is the most affected region in the world and accounts for over 26% of all infections.

Despite the decline in new cases, the number of people hospitalized for Covid-19 has reached a record high, with France in third place in Europe for disease-related deaths, after the UK and Italy.
The government of President Emmanuel Macron has set 1 December as the deadline for the end of the quarantine.
