Sunday at Spielberg's Red Bull Ring was an accident. A Töfffahrer (68) and his rider (46) in the sidecar – both from Switzerland – were thrown out of the vehicle and seriously injured.
According to the police, the driver on the track lost control of his vehicle, got off the train and crashed into a pile of tires. The 68-year-old was transported by helicopter to the Landeskrankenhaus in Graz. An ambulance took the woman to the Judenburg state hospital.
According to the racing calendar, the "Rupert Hollaus Memorial Race" with vintage motorcycles takes place this weekend at the Red Bull Ring. (SDA / rad)
