Coronavirus Romania, budget 6 November. To date, on 6 November, 287,062 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed in Romania.
195,971 patients were declared cured.
Following the tests carried out at national level, compared to the last report, 10,260 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) have been recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

In addition to the recently confirmed cases, following the re-examination of already positive patients, 2,035 people were positively reconfirmed.
To date, 7,663 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 05.11.2020 (10:00) and 06.11.2020 (10:00), 123 deaths were reported (69 men and 54 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20-29 years, 2 deaths in the age group 40-49 years, 13 deaths in the age group 50-59 years, 36 deaths in the age category 60- 69, 36 deaths in the 70-79 age group and 35 deaths in the over 80 category.
119 of the deaths recorded concern some patients with comorbidities and for 4 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported so far.
In health care units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 12,133. Of these, 1,001 are hospitalized at the ATI.
To date, 3,418,245 tests have been developed nationwide. Of these, 38,389 were performed in the past 24 hours, 21,568 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 16,830 upon request.
Furthermore, from the latest information provided by GCS, the results of 238 tests processed before the last 24 hours and presented until 6 November were reported.
In Romania, 40,615 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in home isolation and 10,186 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 66,563 people are in quarantine at home and 14 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
