A serious road accident occurred in eastern Brazil. A bus’s brakes have probably failed.
At least 17 people died in a serious bus accident in eastern Brazil. Twelve of them died of their serious injuries directly at the crash site, another five later in hospital, G1 news portal reported Friday, citing firefighters. 27 people were injured, three of them seriously.
The bus fell about 35 meters from a bridge near the village of João Monlevade in the state of Minas Gerais. According to initial investigations, the bus brakes could have failed.
