The debt drama surrounding Boris Becker (51) never ends. He is currently on trial in London. There the tennis star must answer that he has not correctly declared several assets. The former athlete is charged with 19 crimes against his bankruptcy conditions. They range from hiding real estate to not revealing large sums of money.

One of these properties is said to be Becker’s house in Leimen, where his mother Elvira lives (85). Now the villa is for sale on the Internet. The house offers 449 square meters of living space in a prime location. With the large garden and the elegant terrace, the property is 825 sqm in total. However, potential stakeholders also need to dig deep into their pockets. The villa costs 1,970,000 euros (the equivalent of around 2.1 million francs).

“Right of life residence” for his mother

But what happens to Becker’s mother, Elvira? The pensioner is not put on the street. The only condition for a purchase is Elvira’s “right to stay for life”.

It is unclear who exactly advertised the house for sale. According to “Bild”, the UK bankruptcy trustee is expected to be behind the announcement. So the money would go to Becker’s creditors.

If convicted in the new criminal case, Becker faces a maximum sentence of seven years in prison. The tennis star protested his innocence on Twitter: “Innocent until proven guilty! I deny the charges against me and will defend myself by all legal means! “(klm)
