Blockchain Ecosystem Protection – NJ Tech Weekly

George Waller, CEO of Edison's BlockSafe Technologies, says he is
he lives, breathes and eats cybersecurity, blockchain and crypto.

"Cybersecurity", he declared openly when asked what his company was
it's better. And he was serious.

"Here's the thing, I've dedicated the last 18 years of my life
in this company to make the world a safer place. "This included a period like
CEO of StrikeForce Technologies (Edison),
which Waller is co-founder and remains an executive vice president. BlockSafe is a
StrikeForce branch.

"When we started analyzing crypt and blockchain," he
continued, "there was no one out there dedicated to problem solving for the
whole ecosystem. You had a security company here and there, but nobody was
looking at the ecosystem as a whole. "

The conversation thus became ultra-critical, from the point of view of numbers.
"No matter how new the crypt is, there are over 9 million dollars a day stolen from the people"
portfolios. This is crazy! "

But the real problem, Waller remarks, is that "when you are
tokens are stolen, there's nothing you can do. Do not call the FBI or the
CIA or the NSA or local police. When your tokens are stolen, they are
stolen. It's not that you can call your bank; there is no bank support
wallet. It's a big problem. Exchanges and blockchains, in particular exchanges,
I'm really under attack. "

StrikeForce Technologies will be in its 18th year soon.
BlockSafe Technologies was born in 2018.

"We realized that we had to create a company with people dedicated to the protection of that blockchain ecosystem."

"When I started studying the blockchain for a year and a half
ago two years ago, I started analyzing, looking at the data breaches starting
to hit the wallets, starting to hit the exchanges, starting to hit the permissions based
blockchains, "he explained." I started going out to talk to potential
customers, potential sellers who could potentially sell our software
our technology. We knew that we had to change our technologies in a specific way
, so while we started working to change the
products to work with them, we started meeting all these people. IS
Everyone looked at us and said, "Well, you guys, you're a computer security company,
but we only want to work with a blockchain company. "When we talked to someone
crypto, they would say, "Oh, you're a computer security company, we want to talk
someone in the cryptic space. & # 39;

"So, we realized that we had to create a company with
people dedicated to protecting that blockchain ecosystem. "Waller listened
its potential customers in the blockchain world. As a result, "We opened up
BlockSafe, which is 100% dedicated to protecting this ecosystem. "

BlockSafe Technologies offers three cybersecurity solutions,
each for a specific component of the ecosystem. One of these is CryptoDefender,
which is designed to protect cryptographic portfolios (on desktop or mobile computers
devices). Another is ExchangeDefender, which is a combination of two products
safe exchanges, protection of employees from violations, hacking and
phishing. The third is BlockchainDefender, a security solution for authorizations
blockchains.

Blockchain has grown significantly in the last two years
years. Every two weeks, Waller hosts an event or joins with others, and finds
It is surprising the number of industries that are discussing the subject. Blockchain
it is not new; it emerged with bitcoins around 2008. But Waller noticed it
for years the world has heard more on the cryptic side; and this, he hears,
it caused a lot of confusion.

"Blockchain is a technology, a ledger [database], an app,
that is on a network. Or it's available to the public as a public blockchain, "
He said. "With bitcoin, management is through the blockchain, so until
In 2011, the public heard mainly about bitcoins. Then they understood that blockchain
recorded these transactions. And later they realized that he had many skills.
Furthermore, processes can be automated, which makes it more profitable and easier
companies to do business ".

According to Waller, this new information on the raised blockchain
eyebrows in many companies. "On the licensing side, the CEO says," Wow, you
you know what? I can become very efficient and profitable. "You do not need everything
old fashioned ways of things done by more people, and paperwork and
everything else is involved When you put something in the blockchain, it is
there, it's safe and stays there forever. "And on the public side?" If you
they are using a public blockchain, allowing you to make transactions with everyone
collaboratively throughout the world. It's really all
transactions. "

"We deposited our BSAFE token on September 25 with the SEC as security."

In September 2018, BlockSafe announced its pre-sale for securitized tokens (STO). "The SEC said, if you're going to create a token and sell it and get money from it, we'll see it like a security. Therefore, you must file it with the SEC. Many companies have set up companies outside the United States to avoid compliance and regulation, "he noted.

"What we did was embrace it, our parent house,
StrikeForce, is a public company and has been for 14 years. Embrace the fact
that we have financials every quarter, every year, so we're not afraid of
regulations to all. So, we deposited our BSAFE token on September 25th with
the SEC as security. When people invest in our current pre-STO (506c) round,
they can buy tokens for $ 0.25 each. "That round will close on January 24, 2019.

The token also has another purpose: revenue
participation. BlockSafe automatically returns 10 percent of its gross
revenue to all of its token holders, thus providing them with a passive income.
When the Pre-STO shift closes, the STO turn and the price of the coin will begin
will double at $ 0.50. All participants must be accredited investors.

"What drives me and us here is that they are bad actors
"It crowds for crypts and blockchains," said Waller. "Our history in cybersecurity,
and the tools we have built over the years have been the perfect springboard for us
take our knowledge, take our skills and the products we have built and
modify these products so that we can address these very specific problems. "

BlockSafe and StrikeForce are in the state of the garden for the
long range. "We are very dedicated to New Jersey, we are centrally located, and
It's an easy place to get to. We're definitely looking to hire people here.
If you're local, the better, come and join our mission to make the world a reality
safer place for people to calculate. "

Sharing is the cure!
