Biden to Trump: “Mr. President, I can’t wait to talk to you”

The president-elect called it shameful that Trump did not acknowledge defeat.

US President-elect Joe Biden said Tuesday 10-N that he is looking forward to speaking with Republican President Donald Trump, who has yet to acknowledge the Democrat’s victory in the November 3 election.

When a reporter was asked at a press conference what he would have said to Trump if he were watching, Biden replied, looking at the camera and smiling, “Mr. President, I can’t wait to talk to you.”

Biden’s “shameful” that Trump refuses to admit defeat and predicted it will stain his predecessor’s legacy, even if it won’t hinder the transition process.

Similarly, the Democrat described on Tuesday the reception he received from the country’s traditional allies in Europe and Canada as “obsequious and energetic”, and proclaimed that “the United States is back” and will be respected again.
