MANAMA – Several Bahraini ministers received coronavirus vaccine injections Tuesday as part of their willingness to support national efforts to tackle the pandemic and limit its spread.

Ministers expressed their deep appreciation for Team Bahrain, led by Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for the proactive efforts it undertook prior to the detection of the country’s first COVID-19 case.

On November 3, the Bahraini Ministry of Health announced that the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) had authorized the emergency use of the coronavirus vaccine among frontline health workers who are in direct contact with cases. of Covid-19 active.

Health Minister Faeqa Al Saleh said the use of the vaccine was in full compliance with the kingdom’s regulations and laws allowing for exceptional authorizations in emergencies, adding that the results of the first and second phase clinical trials showed that the vaccine was safe and effective. – BNA
