A terrorist attack on a military post at one of the entrances to the city of Baghdad, Iraq, killed eleven people today, including members of the security forces.
According to the AFP, which cites medical and police sources, the attack in the village of Radouaniya was caused by the “cells” of the Islamic State.
Although Iraq declared victory over the extremist group about three years ago, the jihadist organization still holds some positions in the agricultural region of the Iraqi capital, where the attack on Sunday took place.
