Two people died and others were seriously injured in a knife attack at Grace Baptist Church in San Jose, California.
At the time of the attack, there was no religious function in the church and people inside the place of worship were brought to warm up, San Jose police said on Twitter.
Police confirmed two of the victims died after San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo made the announcement on Twitter.
The San Jose Police Department tweeted that officers responded to the attack on Grace Baptist Church, located at 400 E San Fernando Street, just after 8:40 pm local time.
