Seventy-five passengers from Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) arrived this Thursday afternoon at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, as one of the first commercial flights of the national airline Conviasa, and where all biosecurity and international aviation protocols were respected .

This is one of the two flights Conviasa has made, after resuming commercial activities, since March when they were suspended due to a pandemic. The second regular flight YV-2964 to Cancun (Mexico) left in the afternoon with approximately 67 passengers.

When the passengers arrived in Maiquetía and checked in, they were received by the state health agency, for a medical review for covid-19 and to save their data.

Conviasa has announced on its social networks the activation of the route to Panama from the Maiquetía and Maracaibo airports, with three flights for next November 17, following the announcement of Inac to allow the marketing of this route in the country.

According to the flight itinerary of the state flag carrier, Conviasa will fly on November 16 to Cancun (Mexico) as a regular flight and where passengers have no health restrictions due to covid-19 to enter the country.
