The Swedish investigators want to inform early on the cause of the accident, which led to the death of six young Swiss. The Swiss minibus could also provide answers.
The mourning in Adelboden BE and in the small northern Swedish town of Kiruna is infinitely big: six young Swiss died in a head-on collision with a truck on Saturday morning. The incident occurred on a stretch of road feared by locals as a "curve of death".
Since then, investigators are working at full speed on the investigation of the cause of the accident: they have freed the wreck in recent days and analyzed the technical assessments (Blick reported). The images now show the minibus in the courtyard of a Kiruna firehouse.
The police want to inform soon
The wreck of the minibus is there wrapped in a gray bluff. A yellow sign indicates that the bus was insured by the police. From the bottom, the damage caused by the accident is difficult to detect.
The sight barely remembers the shape of a car. Shows which serious forces have worked in the accident: one wheel is oblique on the vehicle, the front has been completely disfigured. To save the victims, the vehicle had to be opened.
The police want to inform this week of the accident. Emma Lindberg, chief investigator of the Kiruna police, tells BLICK: "We have received technical assessments and we need to analyze them, and we must also interrogate the truck driver and the injured Swiss again."
