There was another hot development in the US presidential election. When voters went to the polls on November 3, Democratic candidate Joe Biden was the winner of the election after a long marathon of counting the votes.
Although Biden secured victory by reaching 270 selection committee delegates, the counting process continues in several states where the race is close. The results became evident in Arizona, one of those states.
THE NUMBER OF DELEGATES HAS REACHED 290
According to CNN International news based on data from research firm Edison, Joe Biden was the winner in Arizona. Thus, while Biden increased the number of delegates to 290, Trump remained at 217.
TWO STATES fell behind
With Biden’s victory, Trump suffered another disappointment in a state he was sure to win. Biden’s takeover of Arizona is seen as a major success for the Democratic Party. Because Biden stands out as the first Democratic leader to win in Arizona in 70 years.
Although Trump opposed the election results, which he described as fraudulent, there are two remaining states where the census process continues. These states are North Carolina and Georgia. Biden is slightly ahead in Georgia with 16 delegates and Trump in North Carolina with 15 delegates.
