The campaign site of US President Donald Trump, a candidate in the November 3 election, was briefly hacked on Tuesday, a week before the election, AFP reports.

“This site has been hacked,” he said, posting a few minutes on a donaldjtrump.com page. “The world is fed up with the false information that the president spreads every day,” reads the message, informs Agerpres.
The hackers claimed they had confidential information about Donald Trump and his government and demanded payment in cryptocurrency to disclose the content.
Trump 2020 campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh confirmed the hack in a statement and said police are investigating the source.
