The senator and the son of the President of Brazil have clarified on Sunday that the suspicious transactions amount to about 280 thousand euros in his bank accounts and refer to the purchase and sale of an apartment.
According to TV Globo, deposits took place between June and July 2017 at a bank branch located within the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro.
The survey emphasizes that deposits always have the same value, two thousand reais (468 euro), for a total of about 22 thousand euro in the two months in question.
