With its new Blockchain Security 2Go Starter Kit, Infineon Technologies offers FinTech and blockchain designers a quick and easy way to build hardware-based security systems.
The boot kit contains five NFC smart cards based on Infineon's security controller with blockchain encryption capabilities for several blockchains. In addition, an & # 39; open source Android app is provided for the Ethereum and Smart contract examples. NFC smart cards help blockchain system designers to easily integrate hardware-based security and quickly develop the first blockchain application prototypes. Security tokens, be they smart cards, dongles or mobile device solutions, allow users to securely generate unique private and public key pairs, authenticate with PIN and sign their data and digital transactions. All user credentials can be stored in the security controller and thus protected against remote attacks on software or microarchitecture and in particular from physical attacks in the event that the token is stolen or lost.
In addition, Infineon and Xain are working together to use the AURIX microcontroller with the integrated hardware security module to enable blockchain applications in the car.
