In Austria, public life partially resumed after a three-week blockade. Schools, retailers and body-friendly services, such as hairdressers, can reopen on Monday, Chancellor Sebastian Kurz says after the cabinet meeting. Gastronomy and hotels will be closed until January 7th. Sports, cultural and recreational facilities will also remain closed.

The exit restrictions will only apply at night in the future. Also, there will be strict entry requirements for the Christmas holidays. If you wish to travel abroad during the holiday season, you must be quarantined for ten days upon return.
