Defeated by Azerbaijani forces, Armenia had to sign a ceasefire agreement under the mediation of Russia on 9 November.

The deadline for the transfer of Kelbajar’s Armenia to Azerbaijan was expiring on November 15th. However, the Baku administration accepted the Armenian side’s request to extend the handover of control and extended the period to November 25.
