Argentina and the world are still mourning the departure of Diego Armando Maradona, who was sacked during a mass event this Thursday in Buenos Aires.
His visit to the different stadiums generated homages and massive displays of affection, but his vigil at Casa Rosada and in front of hundreds of thousands of people it was the complete demonstration that the love of the Argentines for the popular idol is enormous. The riots, confrontation and chaos of the last few hours have clouded a historic day for Argentines.

The remains of Maradona bequeathed to the Casa Rosada escorted by family members, and the inner circle managed to greet him in a room in the seat of government.
The burning chapel open to the public started early and there were incidents with people not respecting the packaging. The police intervened and the situation quickly calmed down. The massive entry of people to Casa Rosada occurred normally, but just before the end of the vigil, when the police closed the access to the lines to enter the wake, there was riots.

The coffin was to be moved to another area of the seat of government and the entry of people was interrupted. There were inmates and injured by a rubber bullet.
Argentina president Alberto Fernández left an Argentinos Juniors shirt over the coffin (club of which he is a fan and in which Maradona made his debut) and a white scarf, symbol of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo.

The coffin was surrounded by the shirts of the teams that Diego defended, especially Boca Juniors. Visibly moved, he hugged Dalma and Gianinna, Maradona’s daughters, and his ex-wife Claudia Villafañe.
Maradona was buried in a private cemetery in the province of Buenos Aires
called Bella Vista Garden. In that place rest the remains of his parents, Diego Maradona and Dalma Salvadora Franco.
The star died alone in her room. La Nación de Argentina, a newspaper of the GDA group, said the last person to see him alive was his nephew, Johny Espósito (son of Betty), Tuesday at 11 p.m. When her temperature was taken, her body was below 35 degrees.

This means that Diego would die between 6 and 7 in the morning, while he was sleeping.
According to the result of the autopsy performed at the San Fernando hospital, Maradona died of acute, congestive and chronic heart failure which generated acute pulmonary edema. He suffered a heart attack while sleeping.

The luck that goes away
Maradona died between multiple causes intertwined with his former partner Claudia Villafañe, who sued for tax evasion, procedural fraud and embezzlement of 458 objects that were part of his assets in his past as a football player.

According to La Nación, the assets of “10” consist of personal property (houses, cars and jewels) ranging from Buenos Aires to Dubai, contracts and investments of great value between Argentina and the various parts of the world where he lived or worked.
Among the properties, Maradona would have at least five in the countryside: the aforementioned Segurola and Havana apartment, in Villa Devoto, plus another in the same neighborhood; an apartment in Puerto Madero; a house in Nordelta where her sisters live; and a house in Bella Vista that he acquired and gave to his former partner Rocío Oliva and his family.

On the other hand, Diego would have four of his own cars bought in the country and two of high value in Dubai which were given to him during his time as coach of Fujairah FC: a Rolls Royce Ghost and a BMW i8.
In Belarus, where he had a short stint as honorary president of the Dynamo Brest club, He was awarded two luxury goods: a € 300,000 diamond ring which he used on various occasions during his time as a gymnastics coach; and an amphibious tank, specially designed for the army, called the Hunta Overcomer with 2.61 meters high and 4.50 meters long that weighs 2.3 tons, has a capacity of seven people and can float on water.

Among the current contracts that Diego had, the salary agreement (plus earnings from sponsorships) in Gymnastics as a coach stands out, his link with Puma as a sports brand and with Konami and EA Sports for the use of his figure in football video games. He also owned football schools named after him in China, various investments in Cuba and commercial activities in Italy.
According to the specialized portal Celebrity Net Worth, his total career earnings would be approximately $ 500 million.
