The Dukes of Cambridge, Catherine and William, announced Monday that Lupo, their 9-year-old dog, had died. The dukes say that Lupo was “the heart of the family”.
Catherine and William announced on their Instagram page on Monday that Lupo, the family’s dog for 9 years, died over the weekend.
“Unfortunately Lupo, our dear dog, died over the weekend. He has been the heart of our family for the past 9 years and we will miss him enormously,” wrote Kate Middleton on her Instagram page.

Wolf has appeared in several official photos, including the first photo of Prince George, writes the Daily Mail.
It was received by William and Kate as a wedding gift in 2011.
