Israeli TV channel 12 suggested that Prime Minister Netanyahu secretly paid a visit to Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Army radio broadcasts in Israel also confirmed the progress, announcing that Netanyahu had met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Saudi Arabia.
No statement has yet been released by the Israeli prime minister’s office.
The Israeli press said that some countries, including Saudi Arabia, would enter into negotiations to normalize relations with Tel Aviv after the presidential elections held on November 3 in the United States.
