The company that owns the Luanda Medical Center clinic made it clear today that it was only the tenant of the building that was returned to the Angolan state, and therefore is not targeted in the real estate investigation process announced by Angolan judicial authorities.

On Friday, the Angolan Attorney General’s Office (PGR) announced that several real estate assets were handed over to the National Asset Recovery Service (SENRA), including the building where the Luanda Medical Center clinic is located, in the Ingombota district, in Luanda, a hotel and an educational institution.

CSIS also said it had invested “in building renovation and high-end equipment” to secure the operation of this private health services unit.

In addition to the Luanda clinic, LMC has another in Talatona, with both units “functioning normally”, the statement added.

According to PGR, the Monalisa Residence hotels in Talatona, the Torres Eucaliptos real estate project, the Instituto Sapiens building and the Luanda Medical Center (LMC) building, located in Rua Amílcar Cabral, in the Ingombota district, have all been delivered to Luanda.
