Lavrov’s statement on the Nagorno-Karabakh agreement: they confirmed their loyalty

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov made statements to the press after his contacts in Armenia.

Claiming to have met with Armenian President Sargsyan and Prime Minister Pashinyan, Lavrov said he discussed the implementation of the joint declaration signed between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia on Nagorno-Karabakh on 9 November.

Stressing that the above statement is “the only way” to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, Lavrov said: “Attempts to raise doubts on this statement not only at home but also abroad are unacceptable.

“The President and the Armenian Prime Minister stressed that the declaration helped solve serious problems and save people’s lives. They reaffirmed their commitment to the future implementation of the agreement,” Lavrov said.
