Trillade Primary School in Avignon, in the south of France, has decided to leave a very clear message to the parents of the students. On the posters posted on the fence of the school it is written that it is forbidden to shoot students beyond the gate when they arrive late.

In the poster images, a doll appears, representing an adult, throwing a smaller doll (a child) into the air over a closed gate, asking them to wait for the gates to reopen at 10 or 15.

In an interview with Times, Sanaa Meziane, school principal, accused the parents of being “irresponsible” and this “literally threw the kids“when they arrived after 8:30 and the gate was closed.

While not a situation that occurs regularly, the principal said the school needed to act because he believes it was a matter of time before some children were injured.

After the recent terrorist attacks in France, security measures in many schools across the country have been tightened.
