Colombia is currently experiencing the “third wave” of the first outbreak of infections, in which regions such as Eje Cafetero, Antioquia, Boyacá, Huila and Tolima, which had not yet crossed the peak of infections, are experiencing a high number of infections.
For now, the government has decided to maintain the period of selective isolation and has emphasized self-care, especially considering the proximity of the end of the year season.
While that is a possibility, it has not yet been thought of to return to strict confinement in December.
