Coronavirus Romania, November 14 report. 9,460 new cases of Covid-19

239,051 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests carried out at a national level, compared to the last report, 9,460 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) have been recorded, being cases that previously had not had a positive test.

Apart from the new confirmed cases, following the re-examination of already positive patients, 1,434 people were positively reconfirmed.

To date, 8,813 people have died diagnosed with SARS – CoV – 2 infection.

Between 13.11.2020 (10:00) and 14.11.2020 (10:00) 129 deaths were reported (73 men and 56 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bucharest, Bacău, Bistrița-Năsăud, Brăila, Botoșani, Brașov, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dolj, Gorj, Galați, Giurgiu, Harghita , Hunedoara, Iași, Mehedinți, Maramureș, Mureș, Olt, Prahova, Sibiu, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Suceava, Timiș, Teleorman, Vâlcea and Vaslui.

Of these, 3 deaths were recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 5 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 10 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 31 deaths in the age category 60- 69, 48 deaths in the 70-79 age group and 32 deaths in the over 80 age group.

120 of the deaths recorded concern some patients with comorbidities, 6 deceased patients did not have comorbidities and for 3 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported so far.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 12,919. Of these, 1,172 are hospitalized at ATI.

To date, 3,667,896 tests have been developed nationwide. Of these, 37,040 were performed in the past 24 hours, 21,204 based on case definition and medical protocol, and 15,836 on request.

In Romania, 48,129 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in home isolation and 13,207 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 79,532 people are quarantined at home and there are 23 people in institutionalized quarantine.
