2020 USA Elections Live: After Michigan Victory: Biden approaches the magic number of 270 voters

After the US presidential election, incumbent President Donald Trump went to court in the conflicted state of Pennsylvania to stop the counting of votes. Trump’s campaign team said they wanted to suspend the count by filing a lawsuit. The campaign team spoke of a lack of “transparency” in polling stations.

The incumbent also wants to contest the outcome in the state of Wisconsin. Trump will immediately ask for a recount of votes, his campaign manager Bill Stepien said. Irregularities have been reported in several Wisconsin counties. There are therefore “serious doubts about the validity of the results”. Several US media reported that challenger Joe Biden won the state.

Trump also went to court against another vote count in the state of Michigan. His campaign team said they asked a court to stop the count. Michigan in the Midwest is one of the few states that doesn’t have a winner after the election. Biden is currently ahead.

Stepien said the president’s team was not given “meaningful entry” into many Michigan polling stations to monitor vote counts. Until this changes, the count must be stopped. Ballots, which were opened and counted in the absence of Trump’s election observers, also needed to be checked. Michigan, with its 16 voters, plays a key role in the bitter presidential race.
