The presidential election in the United States will be decided in five key states, while the counting of votes continues on a day of record number of ballots sent in the mail, leaving millions of legitimate votes yet to be counted.

Entities in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, Georgia and North Carolina are still waiting to publish updated results. They have a total of 73 electoral votes.
Election officials from several counties in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia have stopped providing overnight updates and will only release results when they have an accounting majority.
Democratic candidate Joe Biden with 248 electoral votes is projected to lead Republican Donald Trump by 34. Neither candidate has achieved the 270 electoral votes required to be declared the winner.
According to NBC News, former Vice President Joe Biden has at least a small lead in Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, all of which Trump won in 2016.
The Democratic candidate asked for patience until “all votes are not counted,” but President Trump criticized the extra time needed to count the ballots, falsely accusing the Democrats of trying to steal the election.
“We will win this, and as far as I’m concerned, we’ve already won it,” Trump said in a speech to supporters in the East Room of the White House.
Pennsylvania and Michigan will determine the outcome of the presidential elections, which were held this Tuesday in the United States, according to analysts.
The large number of votes cast by post in Pennsylvania could delay the vote count until Thursday, the local press revealed.
