TO UPDATE Pennsylvania police say a woman tried to set fire to a polling station on election day.
The Pequea Police Department has opened an investigation into an election day incident at the West Willow Fire Company in Lancaster County.
According to Fox News, once she arrived at the polling station, the young Caucasian woman lit a piece of paper hanging from a cardboard divider plate.
“The staff smelled smoke, noticed the fire and was able to put it out immediately,” officials said. Following the accident, the woman left the building and got behind the wheel of a car. It was not specified if he voted.

In North Carolina, a man, who according to local media is a supporter of Donald Trump, tried to intimidate voters with a gun right next to the polling station.
The individual was initially chosen with only a warning, but, a few hours later, he returned to the university property, where the department had been organized.
The man was arrested and taken to the police station. After a few checks, it appears he had a semi-automatic pistol license.

The Los Angeles Police Department declared a downtown rally illegal “because of the large and unruly crowd.”

Hundreds of protesters gathered near the White House in Black Lives Matter Plaza after much of the area was barricaded by authorities before election night.
Protest group Shut Down DC said it was preparing for clashes with authorities if law enforcement officers used violence.
A fence has been erected around the White House to block access to the complex and 250 soldiers of the National Guard have been deployed and will intervene if necessary.
There are unrest not only in the capital. The Los Angeles Police Department said it issued a “citywide tactical alert” to ensure that sufficient resources were available in the event of “incidents following election day activities”.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) is also preparing for a possible escalation of protests in the days and weeks following the presidential election, NBC News reported.
The NYPD has anticipated that the protests could last until early next year.
