British Prime Minister Theresa May estimated Monday that her European Union's release date scheduled for March 29 this year should not be postponed, but does not completely rule out this possibility before British MPs will decide on Tuesday on the "divorce" between London and the EU, reports AFP, according to agerpres.ro.

"I do not think March 29 should be postponed," said May. "It remains the commitment of my government to leave the European Union on March 29, but some have the intention to find a way to prevent it," he added.
The head of the government in London has asked the British legislators to take another look at the agreement with the EU in the final attempt to obtain the support of the legislature, which will put the document on Tuesday evening.
"I tell them to the members of this Parliament (regardless of the conclusions you have reached so far, take another look at this agreement within the next 24 hours," May said.
& # 39; No, (agreement) is not perfect. And yes, it's a compromise. I say that we must respect the commitment made to the British people and move towards building a brighter future for our country, by supporting this agreement tomorrow, "said the head of the London government to the British deputies.
The British Parliament had three days of debates in this file in December, before the vote was postponed to January. The parliamentary debate resumes on 9 January and will end on January 15 at 19:00 GMT.
If Theresa May loses her vote, Parliament asks her to return in three working days with a motion that includes the next steps, by Monday 21 January at the latest.
The British government has previously stated that if the agreement is rejected, the United Kingdom will leave the EU without agreement on March 29, 2019.
Some MPs have advanced the idea that the parliament could take the place of the government to control the process of leaving the country from the EU and hand it over to a group of expert legislators across the political spectrum.
