Trump gives Nigel Farage the stage in an election speech
7.15: US President Donald Trump took his “friend” Nigel Farage, head of the British Brexit Party, to an election rally in Arizona. Farage made a short but passionate appeal for Trump to Goodyear on Wednesday: “This is the toughest and most courageous person I’ve ever met in my life,” he said.
Farage attacked Trump’s media and political opponents who had made his life difficult in recent years. The US president is the only head of government in the free world who has the courage to fight for his country and stand up to globalization and China, Farage said.
