Bahrain Urgent approval of Pfizer vaccine … Second after England
Bahrain, an Islamic state in the Gulf region, approved the emergency use of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine on the fourth local time, Reuters and others reported.
According to foreign news sources, Bahraini authorities “have approved the use of the vaccine based on an in-depth analysis and review of all available data.”
Bahrain is the second country to approve the Pfizer vaccine, after the United Kingdom.
Last month, Bahrain approved a vaccine from Chinese pharmaceutical company Sinopharm for emergency use by medical personnel.
