Application for temporary provision “Korean Air-Asiana integration”
The results of the provisional injunction request from KCGI, the private equity fund that will determine the acquisition of Asiana Airlines by Korean Air, will be released tomorrow (1 day).
Previously, KCGI requested an interim injunction from the Seoul Central District Court opposing Hanjin Kal’s resolution to increase the allocation of capital to third parties.
Korea Development Bank has announced that it will participate in the form of a paid capital increase awarded to a third party while investing 800 billion won to integrate the two airlines.
KCGI is protesting, arguing that Korea Development Bank’s investment in Hanjin Kal is a means of defending President Cho Won-tae’s management rights.
