Yahoo Finance, one of the best news sites in the world for information on the stock market and stock prices, has added a new feature that offers crypto trading on its iOS app.

According to a blog post added by Yahoo Finance on Thursday, the company's new feature will allow users to directly exchange four types of resources – Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Litecoin – through their iOS app.

The announcement came amid a series of tweets online yesterday suggesting the crypto trading service appeared to be available even on the desktop version of the news site. However, the feature is not visible on the desktop version of Yahoo Finance at the moment. The company has announced plans to launch this feature on Android, mobile and desktop web platforms in the near future.

For the launch of this feature, the company has partnered with TradeIt, a well-known platform that integrates services brokerage to provide users with a secure place for trading financial assets. TradeIt is even integrated with Coinbase, one of the main cryptographic plants in the United States, in 2017, according to a statement of the time, even if it is not yet clear which broker Yahoo Finance is working alongside for the new offer.

Yahoo Finance first began its collaboration with TradeIt in September last year, allowing its users to negotiate traditional financial activities through its app. Exposure to cryptocurrencies was currently limited to information on cryptographic prices and portfolio performance.

The financial news service started tracking bitcoins (BTC) in 2014. In 2017, the site's price tracking service covered over 100 encryptions across all of its platforms globally.
