Wipro Limited joined the Blockchain in Transport Alliance (BiTA) to guide the development of blockchain standards and guide the adoption of blockchains in the transport sector.
BiTA is an industrial group dedicated to defining blockchain standards for the freight transport industry. It was formed by experienced technology and transport professionals to create a forum for the development of blockchain standards and education for the freight transport industry.
The group provides a platform to develop and embrace common frameworks and standards using industry participants able to create innovative blockchain applications.
Wipro intends to use this platform to help blockchain standards independent of the platform for the logistics and transport industry.
