Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trade volume, announced a TRX commercial competition yesterday. The prize will consist of a 1 Million Tronix (TRX) size.
According to an official press release, all users will be able to compete until they have completed Level 2 identity verification and have achieved a trading volume of at least 300k TRX within the end of the competition.
The period of time during which trades will be evaluated will be from 2018/09/06 to 0:00 to 2018/09/13 0:00 AM (UTC). It is important to note that as it is a coordinated event between Tron and Binance, the use of BNB (Binance's native token) will offer a 25% discount on the trading commissions for all contestants.
The idea of the competition is to stimulate the trade in this already popular cryptocurrency. At the close, Binance will distribute the 1,000,000 TRX prize among all traders whose rank number ends with the number 6 (ie, 6, 16, 26, 1456, etc.). The distribution will be equally distributed among all merchants regardless of the hierarchy.
It is important to note that dishonest practices will result in immediate disqualification. Binance has been specific to underline that "wash trading" is not considered legal and the operations carried out within this scheme will not be considered part of the volume of user exchanges.
The TRX distribution will be performed automatically within 2 weeks after the end of the competition. If a particular user wants to know if he has won the prize, simply consult his Account Center under the Distribution History option.
