"Access to capital has been a sore spot for many good-quality start-ups and as we live in an increasingly globalized society means that big projects may need to move abroad to get the momentum they have need, "he said.

"We hope that by exploiting the blockchain center, the Perth start-ups can be better positioned to scale without relocation, and the focus is on education and awareness.

"Having a permanent hub makes a significant difference because it gives the public a place to enter and ask for directions.

"Whether it is a retail investor or a developer interested in implementing technology, a B center as the knowledge hub has the necessary access to enhance the local ecosystem to ensure better results through higher quality projects ".

Australia's first digitally listed blockchain, Digital X, faced the money for the center and CEO Leigh Travers said he had room for around 40 individuals focused on the blockchain who wanted to enter the technology sector.

"There are some companies that have been very successful in the technology space in Perth, but I think it's also very lucky," he said.

"We are trying to help eliminate luck and rely more on the resources we have at our disposal.

"Perth has the best universities and many rich investors who have made a lot of money in the mining and real estate boom and I think they will become a little smarter and more willing to diversify into technology as well."
