For the first time, Volkswagen offers an all-electric SUV, model ID.4, which generates zero local emissions. ID.4 has a battery installed in the body floor which provides an ideal center of gravity for driving dynamics and balanced handling.

The electrical configuration (MEB) offers generous interior space with compact exterior dimensions. The colors and materials are both modern and familiar. The trunk volume is between 543 and 1,575 liters, depending on the position of the rear seat backrest.

Inside, optional features include an augmented reality head-up display that combines displays with ambient reality. The Discover Pro navigation system brings We Connect Start online services on board, while the IQ.Drive support systems turn driving into a true art.

On the outside, IQ.LIGHT interactive LED matrix headlights and 3D LED rear light blocks are particularly eye-catching. 21-inch Narvik wheels offer precise handling in combination with progressive steering and DCC adaptive chassis control system.

Two versions: ID.4 1ST and ID.4 ST Max edition

There are two options until orders are placed. The ID.4 1ST and ID.4 1 ST Max edition models have a battery with an energy content of 77 kWh on board, enough to cover a range of approximately 490 km (WLTP).

The electric drive motor on the rear axle generates 150 kW (204 hp). ID.4 sprints from the seat at 100 km / h in 8.5 seconds, its top speed is limited to 160 km / h. The ground clearance of 21 centimeters and the large wheels underline the sporty and strong character.

Once sold, they will be followed by preconfigured templates. They bring together the most popular equipment options in the form of attractive packages.

An ID.4 Pro Performance model is also available for ordering in Romania

It offers identical key technical data: 150 kW (204 hp), 77 kWh battery, a range of 522 km (WLTP) and a recommended price of 44,119 euros.

An entry-level ID.4 model with an even better price tag will be added to the product line in early 2021. At that time, the ID.4 Pure5 will be available for order across Europe, offering up to at 340 kilometers (WLTP).
