The owner had removed several parts to modernize it, but had to give up his plans due to financial problems and left the car collecting dust for decades.
American vlogger and environmentalist Larry Kosilla last week posted a video on his YouTube channel called AMMO NYC showing the process of renovating a car. Nissan Datsun 280Z semi-unarmed who has passed the last 44 years forgotten in a stable in Hershey (Pennsylvania, USA), after which the car was washed for the first time in all this time.
It is a sports compact produced in 1975 for the US market, which could only travel 563 kilometers. As soon as they picked it up from the dealership, the buyer noticed a scrape the bumper and asked to replace that part.
The seller initially insisted on repairing the damage but eventually agreed, after which the owner removed the bumper for replacement. Also, he was removing some additional parts to replace them with more modern ones, including the FM radio, with the idea of putting a radio cassette in its place.
However, in the months that followed, financial problems thwarted his plans, causing the car to be half-disassembled and covered in a large amount of dust, the video’s author discovered.
