The US-based digital asset platform, Poloniex recently made an announcement on Twitter by introducing several new pairs of trading for USD Coin [USDC] on their platform.

"Poloniex today presents the following markets
#USDC: XRP / USDC, XMR / USDC, STR / USDC, DOGE / USDC, LTC / USDC and ZEC / USDC. "
The USDC stable currency can now be traded against XRP, Monero [XMR], Staker [STR], Dogecoin [DOGE], Litecoin [LTC] and Zcash [ZEC]. Along with this announcement, the company said that the trade of the aforementioned couples will not have trading fees until November 30th.
On September 27, 2018, Poloniex introduced USDC trading for the first time. The token was made available for trading against Bitcoin [BTC], Ethereum [ETH] and Tether [USDT].
Two days ago, Binance also announced USDC trading against Bitcoin [BTC] and Binance Coin [BNB] it will start from November 17th at 3:00 UTC.

USD Coin is the first stablecoin developed by the open source project and the consortium of partners, CENTER, together with the blockchain Circle company. The USDC is built on the basis of ERC-20 standards that provide financial transparency and operates within the regulated framework of US money transmission laws.
The USDC also received support from the famous Coinbase and Coinbase Pro exchange platforms in October. During this announcement, Coinbase mentioned:
"This initiative is an important step towards a more open financial system and USDC is easier to send, program, use in dApps and store locally than traditional dollars based on bank accounts."
