ARC said it had completed a demonstration of the concept for the use of blockchain technology to report and regulate airline tickets.

ARC worked with United Airlines and Blockskye, a blockchain
solution provider, to report and regulate tickets on ARC's private blockchain.
Blockchains can be private or public (private blockchains limit who can
access the network).

Vice President ARC and Chief Information Officer Dickie
Oliver said that ARC is investigating the potential of the blockchain in a number of
areas, including the regulation.

"In the case of direct or indirect ticket sales, we
believe that blockchain has the potential to provide a secure, distributed and secure service
record of immutable transactions that will improve business processes
they exist today, "said Oliver.

Unified distribution and subsidiary managing director
prices Jeff Christensen said the test showed the blockchain can
simplify the booking process for corporate travelers and improve reception
collection for expense reports.

After further testing, capacity could
be made available to other airlines, ARC said.
