Facebook post dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9th, Tymoshenko commented on possible ways to eliminate and prevent corruption. As part of his presidential campaign, the politician is determined to fight corruption with the help of popular financial technology.
"Blockchain is a perfect anti-corruption technology, proven by international practice: in order to completely eliminate corruption in public records and protect the personal data of each citizen, we must transfer all administrative systems to the blockchain," says Yulia Tymoshenko in her post.
Other anti-corruption policy measures include the protection of local courts from the impact of politicians, the action against officials who accept bribes and the liquidation of monopolies. For the first time, Tymoshenko raised this topic in a forum in the summer. At the time, he claimed that Blockchain was the perfect technology to reduce corruption.
In addition, the former prime minister stressed that blockchain can also be useful in public administration. It will help to prevent corruption in this sector by memorizing state registries.
