Tron [TRX] has 20% more total EOS accounts, says Justin Sun

Earlier this week, the Tron Foundation released a video on its official YouTube channel that broadcast all the latest updates and developments in the TRX ecosystem. At a community meeting, Tron's founder Justin Sun spoke about Tron's results in terms of the number of transactions and adoption and made comparisons with other large cryptocurrencies.

Sun said that Tron's total number of accounts is 13 times higher than that of Ethereum [ETH], the second largest cryptocurrency in the world. According to CoinMarketCap, TRX is currently in 13th place in the cryptocurrency ranking.

Subsequently, he said that the peak number of single-day transaction volume is 49 times higher than that of Ethereum over the same period. Moreover, the average daily volume of transactions is 29 times higher than that of Ethereum in the same period.

The Founder also compared Tron and EOS, stating that the total number of accounts in his currency is 20% higher than that of EOS.

Later in the video, Sun provided updates in the coming days. As from Sunday, October 8th will see an update of all the SRs [Super Representatives] to a more recent version, for example 3.1.1. The proposal is agreed for over 2/3 of SR. Furthermore, TVM [Tron Virtual Machine] it will be officially activated that day.

Coming to the burning of the coins, he said that the fifth batch of burning coins has ended and that 98.01% of the ERC20 tokens have been burned, including the previous coin burners.
