Tron (TRX) Finalizes the DApp pilot acceleration plan while the TRX coin searches for the next catalyst

Started on 1^st In December 2018, the first accelerator plan for DApp (decentralized application) was successfully finalized with surprising results. Made by the Tron Foundation (TRX), the entire floor was worth $ 1 million in prizes.

This, according to the foundations, was done to empower developers, programmers and start-ups and encourage them to start building on the Tron protocol. The developers were given until 4^th January to create and send decentralized applications for the rest of the process.

Details

The competition consisted of 114 well-made blockchain projects, made by more than 1,000 developers.

These creators came from many different countries around the world and they all worked for their $ 1 million share of the premium not just as a fee, but also for further research and development.

Prize categories

It was originally announced that the first 56 developers would share the $ 1 million jackpot in the following way:

• $ 200,000 for the first prize winner
• $ 100,000 for 2nd prize winners (2)
• $ 50,000 for third prize winners (3)
• 8 special prizes worth $ 30,000 each. This brings the total to $ 240,000
• 42 finalists prizes worth $ 5000 each. This brings the total to $ 210,000

On the contrary, this breakdown has been reviewed and modified by the Tron Foundation include the 114 DApp developers mentioned above.

The decision to make this change to the Tron team was due to the quality and quantity of DApps created and presented for evaluation. The team's communication on this decision, explained why they did it with a little more detail:

After evaluating the excellent contributions submitted, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the dApps made to support the TRON ecosystem. We have therefore reduced the two best prizes to give more developers a win – and money they will receive to support our commitment to remodel the Internet.

We have allocated money to 114 projects, for a total of $ 1 million in pools. We hope people understand and support change and we thank you for your continued support for the TRON ecosystem. "
