Throughout the day, various restaurant chains across the country will offer offers that are also valid for delivery.

You just have to stop at one of the restaurants.

This Thursday, October 29th, you don’t need to worry about Burger King tickets. The fast food chain will offer nuggets to all customers throughout the day. You just have to go there and receive a package with five units. The offer is also valid for delivery.

These are the new vegetable croquettes that will be offered. This is also a way for restaurants to make this product known. The packaging in which they will be delivered is in the shape of a vase, underlining that they are 100 percent plant-based.

In restaurants, all you have to do is reach for the box to deliver the nuggets. Upon delivery, you will have to make a purchase of at least € 15 and enter the VEGETAL code at the end of the order registration.

It is the brand’s latest suggestion.

This was a product created by The Vegetarian Butcher, a Unilever brand, for Burger King. The goal was to develop nuggets that were similar to meat throughout, with the same texture and aroma, but with a different composition.

They started selling from the beginning of October. The Vegetarian Whopper, who was called Rebel Whopper when he arrived in Portugal in late 2019, is now on the menu as a Vegetable Whopper. It was also an option created by The Vegetarian Butcher.

Burger King opened the first restaurant in Portugal in 2001 at the Centro Colombo. It already has 129 places in the country, the most recent being opened in front of the São João hospital in Porto.
