According to TechCrunch sources, Robinhood is currently exploring the fintech community in London for positions in various departments, including operations, recruitment, marketing, product design, customer support and compliance. Strong compliance support would be a crucial component of Robinhood's expansion in the UK, as the free securities trading app should be required by the local financial tax authority to obtain the appropriate licenses before entering the United Kingdom market.
