The new Renault Megane Sedan comes to join the hatchback version, unveiled in February this year. The model incorporates the design elements of the hatch. It comes with Pure Vision LED headlights, a redesigned bar and taillights with sequential signaling, a feature taken from the premium segment.

The car can be ordered with rims ranging in size from 16 to 18 inches. A new color also appears in the range, Highlan Gray, along with the six already existing.

No image appears from the cockpit of the new sedan, which is only available in certain European markets. But it should receive the improvements that the sedan benefits from. It is therefore supplied with a 10.2-inch digital on-board instrumentation, offered in the company of a 9.3-inch touch screen with vertical arrangement, should the customer check a higher endowment. The system allows Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connections.

The driver now takes a seat in an electrically adjustable seat with a better upholstery.

Lifting Renault Megane Sedan, also available in diesel version

Although Renault is preparing to retire the diesel engines, the restyling of the new Renault Megane Sedan still maintains the diesel-powered version.

The range includes the 115 horsepower 1.0 TCe engine, coupled to a manual gearbox. Customers can also order the sedan with the 1.33-liter turbo engine with 140 horsepower, in the company of a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed EDC automatic transmission.

The 1.5 Blue dCi engine offers 115 horsepower and can be controlled with the six-speed manual gearbox or the seven-speed EDC automatic transmission.

Unlike the hatchback version, which can be purchased in the E-Tech version, the sedan does not benefit from a plug-in hybrid version.

The car goes a step further in terms of safety, because it is equipped with adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, with automatic braking system, Auto Hold, lane departure and blind spot warning function, traffic warning from behind and watch out for signs of driver fatigue.
